No way! Technically, it could work but once you add traffic, airport construction, TSA security-NO WAY.
Yes.
Beer garden!
As a minimum of 45 minutes taking into account traffic, roadblocks and crossing bridges on a good day or weekend. The best route would be to take the RFK Bridge (Tri-Boro) to the Grand Central through the Bronx, Manhattan and Queens. Goodnight.
It's ok. Sorted by Airport shuttle.
half an hour depending on the traffic that is always heavy !! If you need a car transport, let me know! Good luck
Take the Q70 Bus to the Woodside LIRR station. Take the train to New York Penn and then transfer to NJ Transit to Newark.
Terminal B
Terminal C.
No chipolte restaurant here
The new and redesigned section of the airport is top notch! Beautiful large spacious and sparkling clean!
Got on the kiosx for my boarding pass. Went through security in 15 or 20 minutes. Got a cup of coffee before boarding. All is good.
The renovations make it much nicer, and the security check is much more effective now. It will be better when more of the eateries are open again.
Beware! LGA is being remodeled. Like they say about NYC, "it will be a great place if they ever finish it."Stay flexible. Things are changing fast and what you are used to doing has changed. Gone are the Red, Blue & Purple busses now there is only one bus. Today, precheck was a lane in the general security area. Thank goodness for CLEAR.Inspire of the issues where else can you get anywhere in another major city for $2.75. That is amazing. Take a Select bus to the Subway. ( They probably could have connected LGA & JFK to the Subway if not for the powers that be.) Stay tuned for a 5 star LGA.
This is a great small airport to come to or leave New York from. I like this little airport because it’s easy and convenient. Going through major much needed renovations but that hasn’t negatively impacted our breezy visits. Staff is incredibly friendly and courteous. Food and drink is available and this airport has some tasty spots. I highly recommend this airport for frequent travellers to New York. It’s close and easy. Give it a try.
New terminal B opened yesterday. It is bright, airy, spacious, efficient and clean.Staff are very helpful.Parking entrance is behind the terminal. First half hour is free.Inside passages with the colored glass connect garage to the con- courses.Check in stations and luggage drop off are ample using a three sided comfigutation! As we were passengers, we could not go past TSA, but it is supposed to be beautiful! All staff were very friendly and helpful!
Great airport - I know its6just the beginning. Its gonna be great and make is nyorkers proud!!
The new Lga is so nice can't wait to see the rest when it is fully completed
Seemed like a nice enough airport given its size. If doing a connecting flight I would go to that gate first and check out the surroundings before looking for food. It can be quite a distance between gates especially if you have kids, wheelchair circumstances or the like. Found the peeps working there to be friendly and knowledgeable.
Experience was good. Everything was easy and all staff are helpful. It was empty than usual due to COVID 19 pandemic. Hopefully they will fix the roads outside and they will be done with the new airport soon.
best experience i have ever had at an airport. It was completely empty when I arrived I was the only one doing check in, then I was the only one in the Southern Air Lines waiting room, little by little more passengers arrived, on the plane the social distance was kept we all used the mask
I have always had good experiences at LGA even before it was renovated. Security is super efficient and friendly enough. I always get through quickly and I love the countdown clock. Relieves my anxiety. Now that it's been renovated, it's even better. No qualms with this airport.
NEW Terminal B / Departures just opened a week ago and incredibly clean, efficient and well designed. Took only 45 mins from Manhattan so this might be my go-to airport moving forward!
I always love LGA ❤ Great people, great places to eat just an all around great place. The people there are always so friendly and just make your time spent at the airport awesome
Amazingly beautiful renovation at LGA. very clean and spacious. Beautiful shops as you walk in, variety of food options, and friendly and professional staff.
My flight left at 8:05 a.m. and there was only a handful of people to go through security. It was the fastest that I have ever gone through. I think there were only two flights that went before mine. Other than that, the airport seems to be coming along nicely. Terminal b is all the way open and a lot of progress has been made on terminal C and D.
It's a mess! The roads are a mess but if you go slow, the signs are adequate to show you where to go. Be careful of cars/trucks pulling out out of nowhere!!
Very nice newly remodeled/built. Too much walking to get to the ride share location. I am hoping that is temporary.
The new airport is looking really good!! So much better than before & during all the construction. Finally comparable to some of the other decent airports in big cities
It was a good experience and l love the drive. It was fun going with my family to the airport.
Boy! What a difference. It is great! Everything has been upgraded and even with this covid catastrophe the check-in is pretty seamless. The same can be said leaving and picking up your baggage. Plus, hand sanitizers galore!
Terminal B just open and it is sooooo nice. I wish I had gotten pictures. But the airport is coming along nicely. It is starting to look a little like JFK airport
Renovations underway. Given the lower volume of passengers, curbside pickup is not available. Long walk at departures level to the terminal exit and then to the parking garage. Perhaps after the renovations are completed, passenger pickup restrictions will ease.
Let's first start off by saying that the new main terminal is extremely spacious and open. II the new baggage claim is more efficient than the old baggage claim.the ease and access from baggage claim to the parking garage is amazing. Downsides from the gate to the baggage claim is a extremely long walk.it appears that when everything opens up most of the good restaurants and shops will be behind security which is a little bit of a hassle. Overall I love the new building and look.
Do your best to NOT go here. I had a terrible experience. The place is very confusing and unorganized compared to other airports. The outlets on the seats when you’re waiting to board we’re not working. The workers were extremely rude. I was flying alone as a young kid and the people here made my experience terrible. One worker flipped me off three times and I couldn’t figure out what I did wrong. I would rate zero stars if I could.
Class act remodeling what was the worst major airport in the country. Clean and spacious with touchless bathroom fixtures a d Dyson airblade hand dryers that actually work! It looks like the F and B outlets are nice but only fast food in main terminal was open due to the Pandemic
I am very impressed with what they did with the place. Tax money well spent lol
Just arrived into the gorgeous new terminal. It's about time 😄. After years of construction and horrible congestion just to get out of the airport (Uber/Lyft), I'd vowed to never come through LGA again. Well they've done a beautiful job.
Brand new airport that looks fabulous and has that new car scent! It's so easy to drive straight into the indoor terminal B parking and walk straight into the terminal. Of course we are in the midst of the Covid19 pandemic, so the terminal is practically empty now. It feels like your own private airport. A girl can dream. The vast number of shops and eateries look promising once they all fully open for business. Overall it is a modern, efficient, comfortable, traveler oriented airport. Fiorello LaGuardia would've been very proud.
Still constructing....But at least there is some form of order & no chaos. TERMINAL D (arrivals) they won't let you stay too long idled when you are waiting to pickup somebody but terminal C has no problem w/it.
My experience Google Maps to LaGuardia Airport was great at first I was scared with the Corona and wear masks the fear. But the rout was almost empty and coming back to Albany from New York was even quicker it was a fun trip getting my brother at the Airport. Google Maps is nice and clear the early warning before your turn comes up like-in 100 feet turn left- I mean you can't get lost with Google Maps app.
After years of hearing how LaGuardia is nothing but a rats nest, I was delighted to find that the terminal is as beautiful as most of the malls in the Vegas casinos. People were friendly, airport was clean, and the prices were absurdly over high. Overall, pretty satisfied with my experience
Clean airport. Easy directions to get around. Only thing that would be better are signs to determine where ride sharing locations are in the airport
LaGuardia is looking great these days! Love it!
Recently renovated. Still way too much walking. Expect at least 15 minutes extra walking time within the airport.
Honestly, it was a great airport before covid-19 and now it's even better. Cleaner, more efficient. Downside is not much selection for dining on the fly, due to covid-19 closures in the airport. Alas, still was a very pleasant airport experience.
Nice new terminal at least from a car service point of view. Haven't gone inside yet. But I pick up on the outside and was pretty easy at the new terminal
The difference between the old LaGuardia and the new LaGuardia is incredible. It's now a beautiful airport that I think better represents New York.
I am very impressed with the new additions Reminds me of Hatfield Atlanta airport. Signs a very clear. Just need more seating for passengers waiting for pick up
Amazing new features!Reminded me of Heathrow as you wind through the vendor/stores.
Thanks to governor cuomo, we now have a mess of an airport that is underutilized and the upgrades that were done, weren't for the travelers. They were done to increase the price of car rentals, taxi rides, restaurants. The way LaGuardia is set up, not one extra flight could go in or out. All done as smoke and mirrors for one of the worst governors that this state has seen. As bad as his father.
It has gotten much cleaner. Took a cab in so we wouldn't have to deal with parking. It's too much of a hassle right now to park there due to the construction.
Very good service. Wheelchair personnel are so polite and helpful. New construction looks good.
I haven't been to NYC in a year. They were renovating LGA when I left. The New airport is beautiful and very organized. The only thing is there's alot of walking. You could get your daily steps in easily!!!
This is truly a world class facility, efficient, safe, and flyer friendly. Hartsfield-Jackson, take note.
It seems like there's a new part of the airport that's open and it's AMAZING. Checking in was easy and fast. The staff members were helpful but there's tons of machines to do it yourself. There's lots of new restaurants to dine at. I love the new look
It's a huge place, but easy to navigate. Signs everywhere. Cafes, restaurants and lots of restrooms.
I see more improvement and the workers are doing wonderful job. Great
Love landing here usually, but tons of construction so I got a bit lost trying to find the UBER pick up spot.
I've heard people complain about the quality of this airport but was pleasantly surprised by my experience here. It was clean and efficient and the staff did their best to make us all feel safe in the anxiety ridden atmosphere of the covid outbreak. Also, there were more chargers and comfortable rest places here than in most of the other airports I've been through
